Yes, there really is a Pete! Pete founded Pete’s Radio in 1952. The business was located at 351 Regent Street in the same building as Bob’s Washers and Len Smith’s Signs. Through hard work and reliable service, the business prospered and grew. In 1959 Pete’s Radio and Rent-All were formed.
In 1971 with the efforts of both Peter and his wife Evelyn, Pete’s evolved into Pete’s Rentall Limited, a complete equipment rental operation. By 1977 we had outgrown our existing building; it was demolished and replaced with a new larger facility. Just in time, Pete was now adding tables, chairs, and glasses to the rental inventory. By the mid-1980’s we had evolved into a full-service event rental company meeting the needs of our clients for a wide range of events throughout Northern Ontario. In 1997 we opened a second location to house all of our party rental equipment. In order to keep up with the demands of a party rental establishment and provide the necessary warehousing space, we chose to close our tool rental equipment division and concentrate strictly on event rentals.
So here we are today, 70 years later, still a family business, with second and third generations active in the business. We are constantly growing and adding a variety of new items to our inventory to meet and exceed the requirements of our clients.
